Method to make Tawa idly at home
Take a pan and add oil. When the oil is little hot add in the butter and let it melt.
Once the butter melts add the mustard seeds and curry leaves.
To the pan add chopped onions and slit green chilis. We only want the onions to be translucent and not fully cooked. Hence saute them till they are just transparent.
Add in the dry roasted coriander and dry red chili powder along with garam masala powder.
Now add the turmeric powder and amchur powder
Add a spoonful of ghee and cubed idly to the mix.
Finish off with salte to taste and chopped coriander leaves. Toss to mix the ingredients.
Tawa idly is now ready and it tastes amazing when accompanied with peanut chutney on the side. Enjoy your Idly 🙂
