Bhendi/ Okara/ Ladies fingers call it by any name. A common veggie made atleast once a week in every Indian home. So, let's take a look on how to make a tasty Bhendi Masala.
Ingredients for Bhendi Masala
Bhendi: 1/2 kg
Onion: 1 big.
Tomato: 2 medium size
Cumin seeds: 1/4 teaspoon
Ginger Garlic paste: 1/2 a teaspoon.
Red Chilli powder: To taste
Turmeric Powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Salt: To taste
Maggie Masala: 1/2 a teaspoon
Coriander Powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Step by step process:
1. Take a pan, heat some oil.
2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
3. Add chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and let them cook till the ginger garlic paste's raw smell is gone and the onions turn brown.
4. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, a pinch of salt, red chili powder, Maggie Masala, coriander powder and give a good mix. keep the mix aside once the oil separates.
5. To the same pan, add more oil and when the oil is very hot add the bhendi and fry till they are all soft and cooked nicely.
6. Add salt to the cooked bhendi and also add the mix we kept aside.
7. Cook the bhendi with the mix till the oil separates.
8. Add chopped coriander leaves and the curry is ready!
